Heat Pump System

The heat pump system recently installed offers the homeowner cool comfort in the summer and warm heat in the winter. A heat pump works just like an air conditioning system. In the summer it uses the process of refrigeration to remove heat from the home so it is cool inside. In the winter it uses the same refrigeration process to absorb heat from the outside air and bring it inside.

Dibetter heat pump technology originates from Carnot Cycle principle, working like a refrigerator, only in reverse. Air which contains solar heat energy is absorbed by the Heat Pump to heat water. A fan draws ambient air through an evaporator which contains very cold liquid refrigerant. The heat inside the air is extracted by the refrigerant, turning it into a very cold liquid. The hot liquid refrigerant is then compressed to a "Super Heated" gas via a compressor. The gas is then circulated to a condender, where the heat from the gas is shifted ot the water in the tank. The current cool refrigerant is then reused and the cycle starts all over again. Attention that Power is only required to operate 4 the compressor to move the heat around the system, not to heat the water.
